Chemistry at The College of New Jersey and continued his education at Columbia College of Dental Medicine. At Columbia he was active in student government and did research on helping patients manage their dental anxiety. He really enjoyed the pay it forward culture of the school.
Dr. Gavin Ewing graduated from Columbia in the top nine of his class and in doing so what inducted to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National dental honor society. He then pursued clinical excellence by attending the general practice residency at Sepulveda VA, near Los Angeles. In this residency he acquired advanced training in endodontics, oral surgery, implants, and full mouth rehabilitation by working closely with a team of specialist mentors.
